1 cup spinach
1/2 frozen banana
couple tbsps hemp protein powder
1/2 cup soy milk (trying to use it up)
3/4 cup ripe watermelon (the secret ingredient)
I’m sort of a genius. Seriously, this is the best smoothie I’ve ever had. After my 8-miler this morning, I wanted to get some simple carbs and a little protein for recovery. I also had some spinach that was on its last legs. The watermelon was a last-minute addition and added a light, refreshing sweetness. I’ll be adding watermelon to many of my smoothies from here on out. Who needs sweetener when you have that delicious pink stuff?!
